In March 2013, three days after his election, Pope Francis told reporters how he chose his name. Cardinal Hummes hugged him as the votes passed two-thirds and said, “Don’t forget the poor.” He thought of Francis of Assisi. Today the Church honors the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis.

ICE just kidnapped a woman at LAX airport Saturday Oct 3, 12:50AM. A community member was able to record when several ICE goons who refused to identify themselves grabbed the woman, put her into a van and then drove off.
