Not “just a rash”. Get your children vaccinated. And if you were born between the years 1963 and 1967, call your pcp to check your records and/or request a test called a titer to see if you have immunity. When the vaccine 1st became available, in ‘63, there were 2 versions. Only 1 was effective.
