Shelburne Museum in Vermont includes a rebuilt New York townhouse with the family’s original art, all wrapped inside a Gothic plantation exterior. Quite a mental shift, inside and out.
Fancy wooden bedroom table with an original art painting by Degas of a dance class. The room has dark green walls and various decorative dishes on the table.

Raised my eyebrows to learn via a 1942 issue of Muncie's local paper that Cincinnati's Ethiopian Clowns, an exhibition club of that era, went to Muncie to take on its local team, a squad that signed future football HOF Weeb Ewbank as a short-term ringer. Muncie won 7-0.

It shows a group photo of the traveling about descriptions of who would play in the game and some recent history of the traveling team.News clip described Weeb Ewbank's role in a 1942 baseball game for the local Muncie Indiana team.Box score of the June 4, 1942 baseball game between the traveling Clowns team and local Muncie team. Picked up some 1965 issues of New England Journal of Medicine on a lark and they're now the earliest XOGRAPH photos I've owned. A microorganism picture was inserted into the journal binding and its image used the distinctive 3D-like printing tech later made famous on baseball cards. #CardSky

The massive concrete envelope of Seattle’s Kingdome prepped me in unexpected ways for loving baseball stadiums in all their chaotic glory elsewhere. Even their security’s weird prohibition on wandering between sections of less than 10k fans total taught me about goofy stadium fiefdoms.

Spam job listings like this are a kick because the current hiring market is so twisted that the "+1 more" is just as likely to be a GIF of Garth saying..."not" -- and knowing who Garth is also means you're too old to be considered for the position.
Bulleted list of proposed job pay range and working benefits from a role at Netflix. The range is comically high, up to 460,000 dollars, and the benefits are conventional health insurance and time off, with an unspecified "+1 more" at the end of the list, which invites you to speculate whether it's something interesting or just something that could have been added to this list as a normal last item.
