Haven't posted much over here, but some quick updates: - Drawing again for the Mini-mall's yearly thing. Fun. - Writing little blurbs for each day too for the challenge. Nothing amazing, but they're helping to exercise the creative side of the brain again. - Also Journaling again.

Feeling briny. Stewing over Doc call yesterday afternoon. The "panel" of doctors debating my aorta condition are doubling down on an issue that's... upsetting to me. I haven't even started the process for the first part they want done, and they're already saying that's not enough.

Feeling a smidge of the creative spark. Pulled out an in-progress story bible for an old thing, and plopped my XIV character down in game to mimic. I don't know why but the externalized character helps me focus. It's sort of like the lo-fi girl thing I guess?

And here we are again. Surprised how the test was. Most of the LR tests have been harder than their MR base version, but this was the same.

All these pills for prolonging my life, and I am coming to detest them. I loath the feeling of scooping them from their plastic prisons. I recoil at the bitter taste when I take the required handful. But most of all, I hate the smell of them; Chalky, dusty, nerve numbing. Smoldering in disgust.

That hsopital life. So, got back into the hospital again. ER visit Monday morning after chills and high fever (103.5). Developed pneumonia, yay. My surgery was cancelled, so still have the stint in, and the associate pain. And yeah, still in the room today. Fever broke, chills are gone.

And that's Arcade Paradise beaten. Fun game, solid 4/5. Technical issues are mostly what holds it back, but it's a lot of nostalgic bliss with a great soundtrack. Probably put it down for now and come back later to perfect the achievements.

Day two of getting back into the journal. Hey, fun thing when I was saving yesterday's entry. I forgot I had been writing daily entries for the entire first three months of 2025. That, uh, two month hiatus sure did wipe my memory of a lot stuff that happened in early 2025.

I know this is a small thing, but I'm a small little presence and small victories sometimes feel really big. I just walked two laps around my house without my cane. I am winded. I am hurty. But a year ago at this time I couldn't leave a bed without a hoyer lift. I'm happy to celebrate this success.

Yay, new power dongle has saved the monitor. Thought I had a dead lcd panel stuck in endless boot loop heck, but a new cord fixed it. $20 fix versus whatever hecky cost a new display would have been. All those worlds in that computer tower, inacessible after power blink.

The new Warframe game mode feels... eh? I can handle it enough to get the new frame and such, but it doesn't feel super fun and I'll probably not run it enough to get the cosmetic mods. Not until they update it at least. I get what they're going for but visually it feels more confusing than horror.
