You're driving in the left lane. Someone in front of you is doing the speed limit. You think they should move to the right so you can pass. Is this a correct way of thinking? No, but people believe it anyway. Let's talk about it. youtube.com/shorts/K3v3V...

As a pedestrian who's walked thousands of miles in our great city, it was weird to encounter the annual "dude on an ATV" as a kid, but it's alarming to be buzzed by kids (and young adults) on electric motorcycles, or e-motos (not e-bikes!) So I decided to look into it… youtube.com/shorts/dcUk2...

Microsoft significantly reduced its CO₂ removal (CDR) purchases by 80% in the first half of 2026. Microsoft bought 93% of all CDR credits globally last year. This is absurd, and no way to determine which method might actually work and scale. CDR R&D should be government-funded and government-led.

That puts Microsoft on track for its first retreat since 2023 from a market it entered in 2020.

RIP to the incomparable Sam Neill

How long has it been since you've seen the original "Jurassic Park"?

SAM NEILL The last time I watched it in its totality was sitting beside Princess Di at Leicester Square at the London opening.
On the other side of me was my son Tim - he was 11 and completely swept away by it, but about the time the T-Rex turns up, Tim started to fart. And the draft was drifting across me to royalty! I spent the whole film in a muck sweat, thinking, "Princess Di is being exposed to the horrors of a little boy's fart, but she's going to think it's me. I am going to be subliminally blamed for my son's crimes, and I don't think she'll talk to me afterwards." But she was well brought up and never mentioned it.
JEFF GOLDBLUM I love that story, Sam.
I've heard him tell that a couple of times, and it's just amazing the lengths that he will go to still blame the boy.

Sony and Microsoft are ditching discs because gamers did. I know it's incredibly controversial right now, but the reason why Sony is ending disc production and Microsoft is rumored to be not be including an optical drive in their next console is because gamers simply stopped buying games on discs.
