Might be worth pointing out that the event was organised by God TV, an American owned evangelical, televangelist organisation that has a habit of platforming homophobic and right-wing political preachers. As much as this is a tragedy, the event is far from being beyond reproach.

I just installed Mint on my office computer. I run a small woodworking business and have been trying to decentralise my systems and make them less US-product dependent. Switching to Linux was the key. I should have done this, as you did, 20 years ago. The Terminal still frightens me though. 😆
