we have thousands of potential dolly partons and tim curries already walking amongst us. most of them are begging for rent money or getting crushed at a shitty job

Look the unfortunate truth is that while all these amazing creators are passing away it just means we have to step up and create new art to inspire and unnerve and comfort

I remember seeing these chickens in person a few years ago and the first thing I said to my friend was ‘it’s literally Silco Arcane’ so I made a chicken inspired by him

That kind of depression where you can’t even stay awake or enjoy anything bc you’d rather just not exist at all

Been seeing a lot of people headcanon Yellow from Deltarune as having moral OCD and yeah, I can see some parallels to my own experiences. Definitely feel the excessive self-punishment for things people tell me “aren’t a big deal”, and just in general struggling with doing justice “the right way”.

A friend came to me concerned for my wellbeing because of my self-destructive coping methods. One of these was self-inserting myself into incredibly toxic fictional relationships and trying to ‘fix’ the abusive person. Gee wonder what that sounds like.

‘You’re transphobic if you refer to Jax with he/him’ okay but Gooseworx literally doesn’t care about Jax’s pronouns and have we considered that transfems / transwomen can use he/him pronouns or are you all still stuck in a little boring binary box?

Nothing is more depressing than watching young artists give other young artists advice like “only use one colour palette in everything you do to have a more recognizable brand” and “draw everything with a target audience in mind”

Every time I doubt myself as a system I remember that I was diagnosed with a dissociative disorder + severe OCD years ago. Even if I didn’t realise I had alters back then, it all makes sense now. I fall into the trap of portraying myself the way others want to see me.

Patrick @noxton.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

That one OC that you clearly pick favourites with

020

Patrick @noxton.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

I like that Bluesky isn’t an ‘active’ platform because it feels like people who use it actually have lives outside of social media and purposefully disengage in the chronically online idiocy that plagues the likes of Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.

Patrick @noxton.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

I remember being terrified of the idea of asexuality years ago because I thought sex was fundamental to having a lasting relationship based on societal norms. And I haven’t had the best experience with it in general.

What were once ‘Spamton EX’ fan designs are now their own fully-developed characters and species completely separate from Deltarune, and that is just wild to me. Fan characters evolving and flourishing into something else is probably one of my favourite creative processes.

As we enter the New Year remember fear of making bad art is holding you back. Fear of people not liking your work is holding you back. Rejection is holding you back You'll make bad art, you'll have people not like your work, and you'll be rejected. Moving past it is half the job of being a creative

I’m genuinely so miserable online. I struggle to even want to share my creations because I feel like I’m walking on eggshells at every waking corner. If I say anything wrong or make a mistake, it’s basically over for you.
