One of the best things about bikes is just how consistent travel times are. Adjusted my route slightly on the return trip so the time was shorter but same average speed. Even though there was more traffic made no difference to me because I'm not one of the dumbfucks in a car.

ICE shot and killed a person in Franklin Park(a near west suburb of Chicago) today, only a few blocks from my route home. We knew this would happen with these masked thugs stopping vehicles weapons drawn, easy for someone to panic and try to get away. May this agent never know peace.

Funniest weather today. Melrose Park is completely flooded. Had to circle around, ride curbs and nail some bunny hops to get out dry. The North Ave viaduct has 4 feet of standing water so it's completely closed. As soon as I got north of North Ave barely even a puddle anywhere. #bikechi

The Fish Gate which is 1941 marked the border to the ghetto under Nazi occupation. Lublin was historically a Catholic city yes but also a hugely Jewish one. It was a big Jewish center of learning and many Jewish people would recognize a lot of our regional cuisine because it's shared.

The symbol of Lublin is a goat because they knew I'd be born here. There is a foundation which works with the city and creates goat statues and puts them up near points of interest with a plaque with a qr code so people can find out more about it.
