In this period of time filled with AI stupidity, let's celebrate those we are not celebrating enough: Art supporters, Art commissioners THANK YOU! Thanks to YOU, many artists can do what they do the best and keep being productive but most importantly Artists can LIVE!

Trans girls you MUST be nice to yourself it's literally objectively good for you and much less annoying for people who like pointing out nice facts about their friends

Having an actual quality binder is such a game changer, and I haven't even been able to go out and about with it, but fuck, for the first time it doesn't feel like I'm asphixiating and I don't feel the seams or hooks dig onto my skin, it's so comfy now I just gotta figure out this massive ass lmao

see her kindness and optimism as a sign of
naivete rather than the result of consistently
having her anxiety spirals and doomsayer

people over the last two and a half decades
of her life and that this is not the tactic of a

Cabo Verde, you made Argentina fight for their lives against you. The former champions had to dig deep to beat you. I believed in you and I am not disappointed even though I'm sure you are right now. You humbled kings today.

You know what I'm excited about? Brazil vs Norway, because in every match Brazil plays they get by with faults, tackling, and overall beating the shit out the other team until the referee is done with their bullshit... And Norway, with a player famously known for injuring anyone who dares tackle him

If anyone gives you art, gift or you paid for it, please view it as more than just a picture. Someone is giving you their time and a bit of themselves to you. Their thoughts and feelings are in it. They're vulnerable in front of you. It is not something trivial. Think about it.

someone on tumblr said it better than i could

I'm not saying be willfully ignorant. I'm not saying pretend horrible things aren't happening. I'm saying don't destroy your mental health going in-depth and cycling through horror after horror on your phone. I'm saying there is no virtue in making yourself experience other people's traumas because mere awareness is not activism. you inflicting suffering on yourself is not activism.
doomscrolling is literally sapping your energy and focus away from doing anything useful to help other people. you can burn yourself out without ever lifting a finger by exposing yourself to all the bad news in the world and who does that help? no one.

"Oh, the background for this drawing is specially far away, let's try to use the deform tool on another asset, it won't look that bad!"

A snippet of the background of a drawing, it shows the WIP of a highway full of some very, very squished, deformed, and wonky looking cars

Please ACTUALLY think about supporting small artists and creators when you see them put out work that you enjoy. Sometimes that support will make the difference between whether they make more work for free or not again at all. Support the arts you enjoy.

a two panel comic
1) a figure drawing at man with a sword at a screen tablet, a voice offscreen says "woah! you made him so beefy haha"
2) the figure turns to the camera, a menacing expression on his face. "you have no idea" he says, a hyper muscular figure is superimposed onto the background

Theories and "expectations" have had a nasty impact on culture. They just set people up to get mad when the story the artist tells doesn't line up with whatever people imagined based off "patterns" that don't really mean anything. Wait for the end, enjoy the ride, and let a story be what it is.
