I don’t have a paper, but I have been having fun playing @arrowood.dev on chess.com. Maybe I can finally make good on @bridgear.bsky.social’s ask to play that I am just remembering now. A few concurrent games at a cafe sounds good.

Eh, I’m hoping it’s not that interesting lol. We all know at this point npm treats a request for a tarball as a “download” without any meaningful validation or pattern matching. Want the most downloaded package on npm? You can do it with a while loop and curl in most cases.

Wow that is awesome. I was on a sail boat with a super pod of dolphins (thousands jumping all around our boat) and it was so magical. Actually swimming with these creatures is another level.

It's funny timing because I did search this morning but with a package name "npmx <package>" and it pointed at `npmjs.com` as well. I tried just searching for npmx after, like you did, and got the same as you show in the screenshot. I swear a few weeks ago google had both in the results.

Haha, luckily for me I can say without hesitation no. Benefits of working on a platform team is no one can blame me for product things. Can't praise me for them either, but I can live with that.

They are, but I think the venue is full up for this one. Maybe @naugtur.pl knows of some english friendly groups in Poznan.

I only had time for a quick look last Friday, but that was exactly the route I was looking at. Only thing I was considering is if I wanted to sleep or try and find a daytime train to see whatever sights I might see out the window. Maybe that would be better done on the route from Vienna to Bologna?

My family would appreciate a stop over on the way home for some theater, my daughter really wants to see Matilda right now I am not sure we are able to. That was a great place and martini, so I need to plan a time to come back! Unfortunately I only have a layover in Heathrow this time. 😭

On top of that, I will be in our Warsaw office for the 3 weeks before. So my "how do I get there" question really means finding the right combination of trains get a scenic and fun weekend.

I haven't been to Italy since college (studied in Florence for a semester) and am excited to see some new sights I didn't get to see on a college budget.

Your journey sounds awesome! And I am ahead of you, I have the family meeting me the following weekend for 2 weeks of vacation to also celebrate my 40th birthday.
