My wife's iPhone 13 just decided to stop interacting with the SIM card. I have no idea why. Cleaned the card with isopropyl alcohol it worked again for 10 minutes and gave up. So I installed an eSIM with the same number and pulled the real faulty SIM and the world is again happy.

Birds are another huge pet issue. People have no idea what they are getting themselves into. We have a pair of rescue conures that were left abandoned in a house with about 20 others when the owners were evicted. They may live longer than us.

When does the plumbing leak? 1am Sunday morning on a holiday weekend. Hot water expansion tank decided to give up. Also found out the ball valve on the hot water feed doesn't cut off the cold water feed to the tank. So i have fitted a new expansion tank. But the ball valve can stay for now.

Well for a first attempt I am happy with this. The seat and electronics provided by my son. The wooden part built built by me. We found a set of plans online and then ignored the most of it so it fit our equipment. Couple of minor tweaks left to make now we have used it.

Sim rig. Home made wooden base supporting seat, wheel, shifter and 3 monitors.
