I guess for more context - There are different rules for what data can be collected and what features are available for users based on their age. It varies by state and country, and some distinguish between children and teens. And those laws are constantly changing.

I think if your reaction to episode one is that visceral you will not like the rest of it. The rest of it *is* better, especially more into season two when it feels like they're not cramming as much in. But the low brow humor and wanton violence is still there, even if not as constant.

Yeah, especially because there is a lot of writing to do in games, but there is a more or less "fixed" amount of it to be done. Consulting writers allow for that writing to get done faster, and when it's "done" or close to it, the contracts end and in-house writers can handle edits and anything new.
