There was a centre back at my local non-league who’s surname was Campbell, and any time he came on, or cleared the ball, or scored (rare) the crowd would shout “Soup” or “Soouuup” 😂 Pretty sure it’s fairly commonly done, but made me laugh all the same.

We’re talking about objectively good things. Workers protections, human rights, climate protection, reducing the wealth gap, improved public services. It just shows you how far down the right wing rabbit hole you have to be to vote against these things just to protect 1% of your income.

This is so many people in England as well. Terrified of having a mirror held up to them, and would rather vote to justify their entrenched beliefs rather than confront the fact that they are wrong.
