NBC News: within 15 minutes of the Cornell campus alert on the sexual assault in November 8, 2024, tips came on to the campus police:

* the names of men
* the existence of a GroupMe fraternity group chat where frat brothers were discussing what happened
* two women at the house that night said the fraternity brothers assured them the incident was consensual — and later asked one of them not to talk about it
* a screen recording of a Snapchat conversation among Chi Phi members from that night, where one advertised “free p----y” in an upstairs bedroom
* a caller said one of the men identified was her ex-boyfriend, and he told her that he “had attended a party at Chi Phi” where a woman had been “sexually assaulted by several males and coerced into consuming ketamine and other drugs.”

Much of the information was never passed on to the Tompkins County DA Office.

It’s normal for people to have HUNDREDS of vacation hours. Any time off must be approved and ur boss can change their mind up to 48 hours before your shift. Most ppl can’t afford vacations anyway on Starbucks pay. So the vacation pay is mostly used to top up paychecks when you were short hours

How vacation works at Starbucks: you’re expected to work every weekend and holiday, so for each hour your work a percent is set aside for vacation pay (like 2%) and overtime you get “vacation hours” which can be paid out at any time. These hours were never paid out when stores were closed last year.

I broke both my arms by scootering into a car as a child, and I had dry socket after wisdom tooth removal. IUD insertion easily trumps both and it’s not close. I still reccomend them, but go to a female doctor. Men have no clue about female pain
