His death comes amid continued Israeli military raids across the occupied West Bank and a continuing siege just south of Nablus in Qusra’s Ras al-Ain area, per The New Arab.

In South Kordofan, RSF shelling of Al-Kuweik Military Hospital on Feb. 5 killed at least 22 people, including four medical staff.

In North Kordofan, RSF drones struck a WFP aid convoy on Feb. 6 between Er-Rahad and Um Rawaba, killing at least one person and destroying food supplies.

On Feb. 7, an RSF drone hit a bus carrying displaced civilians near Rahad, killing at least 24 people, including eight children.

Vetter said the attacks “will not go unpunished” and warned that “international accountability is forthcoming.”

Those killed were identified as Ahmed Hossam Zeidan Naeem, from Beit Hanoun, and Firas Ahmed Muhammad Abu Shanab, who was shot in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis.

Israeli forces also reportedly opened fire inside a school-turned-shelter west of Khan Yunis, wounding multiple people. Heavy tank fire and artillery shelling were reported east of the city, while Israeli artillery also struck areas east of Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza.
