@skeetsapp.com i read oldest to newest (bottom to top), can Read More be fixed so it doesn’t ruin my life? 😅

POV: you’re at the top of the feed, where you last read some hours ago. you’ve scrolled upwards. the arrow points upward to the new skeets you haven’t read yet, but there’s a gap, which reads “Load more…” with a downward pointing arrow. Clicking this will load in the missing skeets, but you’ll find yourself at the top of the newly-loaded section, with unread skeets both above and below, and you’ll need to scroll down until you find a skeet you’ve read already, then read them all oldest to newest, as God intended.

hmmmm it is not exactly an “Oxford comma”, which is an instance of a missing comma in a list creating ambiguity (ex: “We invited the strippers, JFK and Stalin”). the Oxford comma is a matter of stylistic choice, but the comma in “eats shoots and leaves” is fully incorrect 🤔

okay so of the apps i’ve found, @skeetsapp.com seems the most okay so far. however not having a return key on the compose view is gonna be a weird dealbreaker? i emailed them about it, hopefully it’s a bug or a setting i missed.

very important setting: a toggle labeled “Call them” that toggles between Posts and Skeets. i have selected Skeets, naturally.

A setting that filters a feed to only show replies between people you follow, AKA the reasonable behavior which should be default.
