I painted this in Procreate for a song, my husband & I collaborated with an artist named Tot on SoundCloud. I wrote & sang the lyrics, (alt text) & my husband mixed my voice. Tot composed all of the music & mixed it. on.soundcloud.com/7LvUmXhMIG2M... #Hope #SensoryArt #heart #music #art #artwork

This is a heart I painted in Procreate. Sometimes I like to paint on my iPad, especially if I am tired, or painting something for music or design. So that I can easily change the colors.
It is supposed to be a heart made out of patchwork of different shapes and patterns sewn together with threads of light. It is in different colours and different patterns on a black background. There are little glints of rainbow coming off of the sides. It was partly inspired by Bluesky earlier this year. It really cheered me up to see everyone’s beautiful posts. Tot sent me this song, (the music) to make up lyrics to, and that also cheered me up. I will put the lyrics down below. I tend to sing songs more on the sad, folky side, but sometimes I like to sing happy songs too. Anyway, if you read all of this, thank you! And thanks for being awesome!

Patchwork Heart

I’m a pattern on a patchwork heart
What am I gonna do with my little part?
Cover up everything that’s dark?
Or shoot light outta my heart

Like a rainbow
Cut through the clouds
Like a rainbow

Shuffling along inside my shoes
Walking on a different road than you

I’m hoping we can find a thread to share

Seems to me we’re really quite the same
Really quite the same
We’re different patterns cut in different shapes

Ooo, are you?
Maybe not, maybe we are
The same thing, underneath this
Ooo, are you?
Maybe not, but what if we are
The same thing, underneath this?

Do you wanna make a patchwork heart?
We are only strong as the thread holding us together
Double seam on the things that we really need
To hold the light in our hearts

Like a rainbow

Cut through the clouds
Like a rainbow

Shoot out my heart
Like a rainbow

You’re in my heart
Like a rainbow

Stick together like a patchwork heart
And shine our light

Like a rainbow
It’s the colour of light

Stick together like a patchwork heart
And shine our light
Like a rainbow
It’s the colour of light

Like a rainbow
It’s the colour of light

Hello! I hope you feel loved today. 💖 I’ve been trying limited palettes, and this is one that I call Whisper Way. If I could coat my world in a custom theme, this is one I would choose when I seek some peace & quiet. #watercolor #landscapepainting #landscapeart #womenartists #landscape #watercolour

This is a watercolour painting, held down by rocks in all four corners placed on my charcoal desktop. It is a painting of a riverbend with a round shrub tree in the foreground, and trees in the background. The colour scheme is pink, mauve, light desaturated, green and dark desaturated green and gray and white. The trees are a combination of pink, mauve, white, gray, and desaturated green. It looks like it’s icy and snowy.

Russians have brought their culture to the Ukrainian town of Toretsk. Corpses, no signs of life, city razed, survivors having fled west. This is Russia's plan for all Europe.
