i've noticed some heated rivalry fanfic writers interpreting shane's diet as no-carb/low-carb, and I wish I could inform them that he's undoubtedly eating A TON of carbs, just as whole grains like rice or barley or whatever. he probably burns like 5000 calories per day.

What would Shane do if he wasn't a hockey player? Ilya could do anything, but I think if Shane couldn't play hockey he would still need something very active and consuming as a job. Idk if it would be related to hockey? Like nutritionist or PT but... hm.
