As best as I can tell, RFK Jr.'s latest antivax stunt runs counter to the WMA Declaration of Helsinki. Withholding HepB vaccination clearly does not meet any definition of clinical equipoise. Doing it anyway, overseas, is straight up colonialist medicine.

it should be shut down immediately. apart from the total ethical and moral dereliction of duty for the kids in question, even those who don’t care about kids in Africa being the subject of horrific medical experiments should be concerned about the implications. this is a testing ground for the US.

This continues to be utterly grim and I sincerely hope the entire study is shut down. How the feck Denmark could let any of it pass scrutiny is beyond me - hope any investigation into it results in the protagonists losing their jobs at the very least. They shouldn’t be allowed to work in academia.
