Falcom are the ones who set the release date and make the trailer, not Nintendo. And they said the same thing about a global summer 2026 release on their social medias. This is Falcom's mistake, it's crazy to try and play defense for them when they have a history of incompetence like this

I'm not much of a Pokémon person, but my son is & trying to buy him cards at retail prices has been nigh on impossible the last couple of years, and I refuse to pay scalpers for anything. I don't really think the hostility is necessary. People are frustrated with Sony and looking for ways to make that frustration clear. No, it won't change Sony's decision in the short term, but backlash does affect companies. Just look at how much the original X1 plan was backtracked

I guess I see it differently. If a game's social media posts are clogged up with those kinds of comments then that can show that Sony isn't as valuable to market their games with. Which yeah prob isn't gonna do much either but I get the frustration behind the posts

Isn't the point that clogging their social media channels makes it obvious to Sony what the issue is? I'm not on Twitter so maybe it's different there but most of the comments I've seen are directed at Sony directly and not at the actual physical games themselves
