Ten years ago today, CPSC shared its first safety meme. What started as a single baby floating in a force field in outer space has become a universe with dozens of safety characters spanning hundreds of safety graphics sharing thousands of safety messages.

"Radix Multorum Lassa" (The Weary Root of Many) I cannot find the words to describe the meaning of this piece, so I will allow her to speak for herself. Skeletal in stature, with sunken eyes and cheeks-- in a long-awaited moment of solace, she begins a graceful dance among the bamboo shoots.
