Looks like my regional IRS office is still mostly closed due to DOGE cuts. Impacting me being able to get my deceased parent‘s last refund. I got the letter, refund due. Just can’t get a human on the line to arrange check or direct deposit. guess I’ll try snail mail and a lawyer next.

Some Trump voters here in #Arkansas feel abandoned by him. Veterans are mad/upset over cutbacks in VA services. Four towns have had their Social Security offices closed. Fed workers at parks, IRS, and the VA are furious they were cut. Agribusinesses and farms have lost their immigrant workers.
