I'm an academic statistician developing analytical methods to support biomedical research with a focus on epigenetics. I also work with the World Food Programme to assist in the monitoring and assessment of programs to improve food security.

Grants are awarded to faculty, not university administrators. The "compact" with universities that Trump is offering would completely dismantle the peer review process by awarding funding based on administrative policies rather than the merits of the research. Just say no.
