Honest question, and I am not a mathematician: Can we prove that the method used was completely novel, and not just an application and new composition of material that was in the training?

Very boring and vanilla take, that I have nevertheless expended a non-zero amount of energy thinking about: The Galactic Empire were spreadsheet people, and the Rebel Alliance were slide deck people.

Just finished Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, and immediately recognized Shaws pocket knife seen in the last two episodes, as I have the same one. I wonder if the prop dept got it from Lee Valley while filming in BC.

Back in the mid ‘90’s, Patrick Stewart voiced a bunch of ads for Porsche, and I like to think that maybe he inspired some junior designers to watch Star Trek, and maybe years later, they might have wanted to honour that inspiration with a little Easter egg.
