15-1: Hamilton City Council votes to prohibit all new data centres in Hamilton for up to two years. Council is using Interim Control Bylaw. The first bylaw is for one year. The next term's Council can vote to extend for an additional year. Second vote, 2-14 against McMaster's data centre #HamOnt

Over 1000 people turned up to the data centre protest yesterday. Our petition asking for a pause on AI in schools has over 1000 signatures. If you are running for election in October, whether it's for mayor, council or school board, you need to take a position on AI.
