Andy Burnham wants Scottish pensioners to get less so he can fund social care in England - despite the UK already having one of the lower state pensions in Europe. This is what happens when Scotland doesn’t control its own finances. Independence would put those decisions in Scotland’s hands.

If pensioners are TOO RICH and they need to be taxed, you don't cut State Pension which hits the poorest pensioners. You make them pay NI and equalise Capital Gains and Dividends tax with Income Tax + NI. Of course that ACTUALLY would hit the rich so they won't do that.
