Wall of Radiance is a brand new wall spell that lets you section off your enemies, without restricting your allies' movement at all! Wall of Radiance, along with 99 other #dnd #5e spells is under creative commons, and can be found in the midnight spell compendium (link below)

Wall of Radiance
Level 6 Evocation (Priest)

Casting Time: Action
Range: 120 feet
Components: V, S, M (a gold coin)
Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes

A curtain of shimmering light descends within range. You can make the wall up to 60 feet long, 20 feet high, and 1 foot thick, or a ringed wall up to 20 feet in diameter, 20 feet high, and 1 foot thick. The wall is translucent and lasts for the duration.
When the wall appears, each creature of your choice in its area makes a Dexterity saving throw, taking 6d8 Radiant damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one.
A non-allied creature that moves through the wall's area takes 6d8 Radiant damage.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The damage increases by 1d8 for each spell slot level above 6.

the discourse on what jobs are acceptable to replace with generative AI reveals a lot about what we think of other people's jobs

recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best.

It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence lies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.

Yeah, I worked in customer support and, if it's a 'peak' of one day, they will not care. They'll wipe their hands and say "ok, volumes are back to normal, it's fixed" If after a week they are still receiving pressure... Then they'll begin to get nervous
