@mrpunyapal.dev On your Laravel Auditor pages, all the links inside the articles have absolute links. You've accidently started these with a slash making them end up as a 404. It's not just the bottom links, but also the DSA Audit for example. All of them :)

Not bad of a yield during my holiday trip. Add some more #vinyl to my Oscar Peterson collection and found some #brassband albums. Also: immaculate War of the Worlds, INCLUDING the inlay booklet. Also: Charlie Parker Savoy sessions, but the DJ copy (NOT FOR SALE) which is an interesting find.

Why are companies afraid of email? I got a phishing mail pretending to be @anwbverkeer.bsky.social and tried to report it via email. All variants of "support@" bounced. Then I tried to mail the university in Argentina that was the sender: everything bounced. Ridiculous.

Goed nieuws @gld.nl! Die walgelijke, misleidende en leugenachtige advertenties van Outbrain zijn stuk. Heel Outbrain[dot]com is verdwenen! Ik hang de vlag uit! Geen "advertenties" meer over hoe je door oma's middeltje 50 jaar jonger lijkt, batterijen voor een paar euro met duizenden euros winst.

Oh, the 8-track... Wasn't really popular in the Netherlands, but I got my hands on it in a garage sale when I was ±13. Thought it looked cool. Had a bunch of tapes with it, with the music of Oscar Peterson. I can't remember where the machine and the tapes ended up, but I will never forget it.

I've spent quite some time as a volunteer bringing my Belgian shepherd dog to a closed Alzheimer ward. I've seen what the disease does. It's terrifying. I hope you and your family can work through this. The dog brought a lot of smiles to the faces though. He triggered lots of memories from them. ❤️

The "why it matters" is very clever, as it explains *why* you want to fix this. I like the "evidence" part, where filenames and line numbers and reasoning are added. The recommendation and remediation sections are very useful as well. 2/

I had a go at it, and I must say, I am impressed. It came up with 9 findings (one was a failing test so that's on me :)). But all the other 8 findings were good. The critical finding was an edge case I would have never found myself. Probably a user would have reported it one day 😆. 1/

In a few months we will see an influx of AI agents using MD5 for password "encryption" as they will have scanned your blog. 😂 I remember this MD5 scheme was very persistent to find as the top search result as one googled: "java password encryption". Took years before that was gone...

That convention over configuration works. Coming from a CodeIgniter background I had the freedom I thought I wanted, but I had to wire literally everything. Once you get to know the assumptions (conventions) Laravel makes, and stop fighting the framework, it just makes sense.

Was running a site using CodeIgniter 3. Before that I tried Laravel but thought it was too complex (I couldn't get my head around convention over configuration back then). When it was time to upgrade to CI4, I gave Laravel another chance. Never looked back since.
