Turned out what I thought were going to be blazing star plants were instead these sunflowers. Now it makes sense why they grew so tall before blooming.

A bunch of sunflower plants. They don't look like what people typically think of as a sunflower. They're yellow but the blooms are much smaller and the center is also much smaller proportionally to the petals. This is a patch of them that has sort of grown up as a bunch.

The sunflower patch zoomed in a tad so one of the blooms in the bunch is more visible. The shape and size is more like a black eyed susan, except the middle is brown.

Back to the ENT yesterday, left ear cleared up. Right ear still has too much negative pressure, though not as bad as before. The other matter that popped up - I'll just put it under the general umbrella of perimenopause. Various treatment options all have different side effects.

New game in the Animal Crossing franchise. I ride this roller coaster of hope + disappointment 2-3 times/year. Animal Crossing New Horizons, the most recent of iteration released in 2020, sold 50 million copies and is Nintendo's 5th top selling game. My desire for a new game is not illogical.

Last night was the inaugural game of the Womens Professional Baseball League. The rollout of this league has been a mess. But the game was pretty interesting. New York went ahead early but Los Angeles came from behind to win it in the last inning, which, similar to softball, was the 7th.
