The cats graciously put on a magic show for us last night. I figured out how they did most of the tricks, but I didn’t say anything, because that would have been rude.

I've always enjoyed being invited to a good Louisiana Crawfish Boil or Kräftskiva (Swedish Crayfish Party). This great blue heron catches and swallows a huge one for his breakfast.

Hiking near Donghaksa in Gyeryongsan National Park, Korea, I came across this GIANT ASIAN CENTIPEDE (Scolopendra subspinipes), a species can grow 8 to 10+ inches long. It is an APEX PREDATOR that feeds on insects, spiders, and scorpions, as well as small vertebrates like lizards, frogs, and mice.
