I know this doesn’t help but I’d burn one of them. Slater at £4.5m then worlds your oyster for midpriced mids. Schade and Dewsbury-Hall are in my thinking currently for WC, could be tempted by Barnes, Garner, Stach or Iwobi yet

Honestly didn’t realise he was that DefCon-prolific. And I guess no-one will ever be Anderson with 90, DefCon, goal threat and set piece share under £6m again (except Groß!) My worry would still stand around minutes long term though.

I like Janelt too. Glad no one has said Belloumi. Just don’t see where Mainoo’s points will come from… scored 8 goals in over 100 games and rarely assists, as well as the fact there’s a bit of competition in that place from Tielemans, Santos and (soon) Baleba. (I know he hit the post Sunday though)

Personally wouldn’t touch Mainoo with a barge pole. Groß is a sexy pick but I’d worry about impact of Europe. Sangare seems a fairly safe bet. King a bit more left-field but spicy. What about Iwobi/McAtee?

Very happy with 97 all out on free hit. Had planned to target this week from preseason. Can’t believe how well it’s worked out! Non-FH team (with Konsa transfer) would have scored 77, so I’ll defo take a +20! One “normal” week then WC6 incoming

Listening to Fabian Hurzeler interview on TRIF, he says he enjoyed watching De Cuyper in the WC this summer and learned he could play left wing effectively. I think this is a long term change not just a reaction to injuries.

Decision to keep Mbeumo was the right one. Wish I’d gone with my gut and put Barnes in for Ndiaye and played him instead of my third striker. HOWEVER… encouraging for Ndiaye and happy to have two Eve assets for GW5. FH4 incoming… watch Bruno and Haaland haul next week 🫣
