🏃‍♂️ #FPLontherun ⚽️ Season summary! GW3 - Cambridge to North London. A good week, with a relatively decent TC return, saw me make it to just outside London, in the middle of Epping Forest. Didn’t see the Black Knight.

With WC6 we move to the next phase of the season… The Long Slog. Aim is to roll AOAP by picking players who: 1) get good minutes 2) aren’t in Europe 3) have multiple routes to points 4) play for solid teams 5) have decent fixture runs Feel like I’m 99% set on my team. Injury news dependent

Very happy with 97 all out on free hit. Had planned to target this week from preseason. Can’t believe how well it’s worked out! Non-FH team (with Konsa transfer) would have scored 77, so I’ll defo take a +20! One “normal” week then WC6 incoming

Decision to keep Mbeumo was the right one. Wish I’d gone with my gut and put Barnes in for Ndiaye and played him instead of my third striker. HOWEVER… encouraging for Ndiaye and happy to have two Eve assets for GW5. FH4 incoming… watch Bruno and Haaland haul next week 🫣

Second bit of #FPL analysis undertaken. Not sure if this has been done elsewhere?? But essentially comparing DefCon output to possession. Unsurprisingly, less possession = greater chance of achieving DefCon. To fit my narrative, this makes Norgaard an even better pick. You’re welcome 😇

I’ve solved how to get double Man Utd attack and then get Semenyo for Cov. Mbeumo out after GW2, Jesus out after GW2, bring in Semenyo and burn a striker spot. BB1 TC3 FH4 WC6 Done.

Pretty happy with mine, planning TC2/3 and FH4 before WC in international break. Burning chips early but don’t see too much value in holding them (death of monarchs and pestilence aside 😉). Also this XI depends on a couple of factors but fairly happy with it

Struggling to join the DCL hype train. Inconsistent over the years. Misses more than he scores. In a team that CC are calling “pretty good” yet were in a relegation scrap until last few weeks of the season. Historically injury prone too. Usually wrong about these things so watch him bag 20 now!!

#FPL Gutted I didn’t have the kahunas to go double Spurs defence as I had threatened at one point. Difference between a red and a green in the end. Pleased with that as a FH, since WC32 I’ve scored 236 points and have a good squad for GW35. A BOU double in GW36 would be incredible!
