I just beat Wizardry! that final grind wasn’t too bad (it goes real quick when you’re at the bottom of the dungeon) and once I had a couple mages throwing out tiltowaits the final fight went by really quick here’s my incomplete maps too. yeah, I never actually found a way to B5-8, just skipped them

god, Dee was so fun to watch. say what you will about vets and their advantages, I always get a lot out of watching skilled and experienced players play the game we came damn close to a survivor/bb winner for real, and I would’ve been happy with it (even if you * the advantages) #bb28

this is actually a crazy twist. idk if it really adds anything to the game itself, but it is a fun way to vary the stakes. the jackpot getting passed on is really fun watch us get a few of failed coin flips, and then like some asshole on Survivor 54 gets $5 million for no reason lmao

One of the things of the Open Era is you can take any idea you’ve ever done and put it back into the show. You can also take an idea you’ve done, put it back into the show with a twist. So we took an idea from 50, this idea of a million dollar coin flip. We said, “What if we put that in the show every season? And every season, one player gets to flip a coin, and if you call it correctly, we’ll add a million dollars to the pot for that season.”

Then we put a twist on it. Same rules as 50 with one difference. If you call it incorrectly, you as a coin flipper are out, that million dollars rolls into the next season of Survivor. So in Survivor 51, at some point, a player’s going to flip a coin for a million dollars. If they land it, the prize pool will be $2 million for 51. If they don’t land it, that million dollars will go into Survivor 52 and somebody will flip a $2 million coin making the prize money $3 million. And if that doesn’t land, it’ll go into 53. It will go until it pays off and then it’ll start again.

I think it’s the most innovative twist in prize money in the history of unscripted television, because that million dollars is a living, breathing thing. And the question is, where is it going to land and how many of them will there be when it does land?

(bad) Idea: Pronoun selections for multiple pronoun users where you have the ability to set relative rates of each pronoun. Like maybe like: (a crosspost from a 2024 tumblr post)

A VB6 dialog box running on XP. The title is "Pronouns" and it has the menu options "File, Pronouns, Help". There's a main group labeled "Pronoun Order/Frequency", and below it four pronoun sets are shown: she/her, they/them, he/him, it/its". Each pronoun set has a slider, with she/her at 90%, they/them at 10%, and the remaining two at 0%. Next to each slider there's up and down arrow buttons for reordering.
