"Steady the Sword" Cover art for my Dishonored au where a High Chaos Corvo comes into possession of the Twin-Bladed Knife. The story takes Corvo to Tyvia, then to Morley, where he finds out the Knife of Dunwall has been living as Wyman's bodyguard. Shenanigans and a terrorist attack ensue.

illustration by laur-rants, 2026. depicts Corvo Attano from Dishonored in high contrast light that hides his face. His left hand is in shadow and his Outsider's Mark is burning with magic; in his right hand is the Twin-Bladed Knife, covered in lines of blood. Around him is smoke and light from a recent use of the power Blink. He is turning his body and face away from the viewer in a dynamic pose.

i wasn’t sure at first if the fullness in my ear/pain in my eardrum was a) sinus pressure from the weather changing (happens every major season shift for me rip) or b) full on ear infection, but it was actually the secret third thing: sternocleidomastoid tension

been really bad about doing my neck & shoulder stretches the past couple of months & i’ve been paying for it dearly this past week in the form of referred pain in my ear drum from a tight SCM 💀 all that to say: FOR EVERY HOUR U 🦐, SPEND LIKE 2 MINUTES STRETCHING IF U WANNA LIVE

smiling big and wide when i get to draw eliksni ocs ✹ #destiny2 #destiny2art

Digital sketch of an Eliksni OC based on Destiny 2. He has a large, fat build wearing a grey vest with a white dress shirt, blue tie and a layered pleated skirt. A blue coat with fur trim hangs on his shoulders. He wears spats and one toe is accessorized with gold claw. He holds a cigar spewing ether in one hand, and a cane on the other.

Digital sketch of an Eliksni OC based on Destiny 2. She has a two horned helmet with stasis crystals spiking out. She has more stasis crystals around her scarf. Her armor has bright cyan tubing, the same hue as the crystals, coiling around. Her cape and arm bands have fur trims. She wields a jagged blade in one hand.

Bird of Prey (Samus Aran from Metroid Ravenous)

Digital painting portraying the Nintendo character Samus Aran, from the Metroid series, as a ravenous creature on top of a totem.
Samus, a woman wearing a full futuristic space suit with giant round shoulders and an arm canom, crouches on top of a totem while holding a pink flame with a off-putting bird claw shaped hand. Her arm canom on the other hand oozes a yellow substance. She looks at the camera like she has just noticed us.

Everyone loved Dolly Parton, but she loved everyone else first. When you treat people like you love them, they can really feel that.

YESSS!! i’ve always thought that aside from the xenomorph, the androids were always thee most interesting thing about this series and that’s why prometheus/covenant hold a special place in my heart (and why the main thing i enjoyed about romulus was andy) despite their mostly-third-act warts <3
