A product that can't do anything useful, that no one wants or needs, and will be very expensive. This is one of the few areas where we shouldn't worry about China streaking ahead. Have a look at who is ACTUALLY BUYING all the Chinese robots being produced. Not a viable market.

2: Taiwan’s election is the biggest unknown & potential “spanner in the works”. If the DPP win again, I think 2028 is nailed on. If a more pro-China govt enters power (current KMT is the most pro-China ever) then this will likely change the approach and/or delay an invasion.

This isn’t “reading the tea leaves” here – they literally & very publicly keep telling us it’s going to happen & are very, very clearly making the necessary preparations for it. Xi will NOT launch an attack right at the end of his 3rd term though. He’s too cautious. This is why 2027 is out.

Why these dates matter: 1 & 3: It's long been clear to me that Xi’s 3rd term is all about preparing China in every sphere for its unification war. Economic, political, military, psychological, diplomatic etc. Nothing has changed my mind - it’s only become clearer through China’s actions & words.

Get ready for 2028. I have long said that the late 2020s/early 2030s are the most likely time for a Chinese invasion of Taiwan. This was the case before Russian/US attacks on Ukraine/Iran, but those attacks & the general international situation have only made it more certain.
