Dinge erschaffen statt konsumieren - helfen. Im Kleinen. Im Großen. Etwas spenden. Etwas organisieren.

@alastairstephens.bsky.social Alastair, do you happen to remember what episode it was where you talked about aesthetic? It was on Stars and Swords, I believe, but I don’t remember the context right now. I’d like to go back and listen to that one again.

This week, we begin our eleventh unit and our discussion of Jane Austen’s 1811 novel Sense And Sensibility. How are Elinor and Marianne Dashwood compared and contrasted? How sharp is Austen’s satire? What exactly makes a flannel waistcoat so unattractive?

Somewhere in the "ugly stage", where I always think about throwing the piece away. Nobody asked, but the blues I use in my paintings are mint, kobalt turquoise, cerulean blue, cobald light, ultramarin and prussian blue. #kleineKunstklasse #artinprogress #wip #art #painting
Work in progress of a small watercolor painting. It features a twisted tree arching over a winding path, set in a blue, misty atmosphere. The background is still taking shape, and some details remain unfinished, but the composition is already coming to life. Painting is taped to a cardboard. A blueish stained mixing palette sits on the left side.
