I was hanging on to Google Assistant as long as I could for one simple reason: it had a translate button which would translate a current view of your screen with a Google lens overlay. Now that assistant has been official retired, I have no need for Gemini since it cannot share to Google lens easily

Apple Reference Image sounds a very smart move. Something that authenticates the veracity of a photo is exactly what we need. I haven't dug into the details, but on the surface it sounds a very clever idea.

I see TNG and DS9 as one long continuation. TNG refined the utopian ideals and ethics of Trek, then DS9 interrogated those ideas to the limit. Those two shows taken together are the best.
