I have both headphones and external speakers connected to my laptop, yet always Slack manages to choose the speakers as the audio output for all Huddles. No amount of tinkering in the settings fixes this. Absurdity!

Today Microsoft Azure asked me for some feedback. Pretty sure we solved "circles" back in the 1990s. I remember radio buttons working just fine in Netscape Navigator. But maybe AI decided it's better this way. 🤷🏻‍♂️

a feedback form. There are five radio buttons. They are oval, not circular, and the labels above them are badly formatted, don't fit in their enclosing boxes, and in several cases are obscured by their own associated control.

I caught up with the two seasons of Lord of the Rings TV series to prepare for the third one this November. It’s rather liberal with the canon, for sure, but if people’s main gripe was how elves have too fancy armours then it’s not too bad. I loved the Sauron mind-games. Great character building.

Why? Because the acronym stands for diversity, equity, and *inclusion*. With a mandatory office presence, you most certainly are not being inclusive towards neurodivergent people who may have serious problems commuting and working at office — yet they thrive working remotely.
