It’s astonishing how far ahead the 2026 El Niño is. The red line is 2026. The other warmest El Niños are the colored lines. It’s not even playing in the same league. Some of this is of course due to this natural El Niño cycle on top of long-term ocean warming… 1/

We’re in federal court today to defend over 100 Venezuelan men who the Trump administration deported to a a torture prison in El Salvador last year. Multiple courts have found their removal under the wartime Alien Enemies Act was illegal — these men deserve to finally have their day in court.

This is incredibly alarming. We cannot go on like this. We need more advocacy for climate action, not just from the environmental movement, but from the political centre.
