Do you guys ever get excited to be old and for BTS to be certified old person music or are you normal

Nico @nicowrites.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Randomly re-reading my old work (the Gilmore girls fic) and encouraged, bc damn, I really did that, but also struck with the paralyzing fear that that’s as good as I’ll ever get and I’ll never manage to do something like that again 😀😀😀

i've always believed some members wanted the grammy so bad that i had a cynical view of this - that bangtan would never give up the chance to make this dream come true so this announcement really further elevated my view of bangtan. with their own hand, they slayed another sacred cow. king shit.

the never ending creativity killer that is 'wanting to write new idea but wait there's so many wips! Do those first! but the new idea is more enticing and now you feel bad for not wanting to work on a wip so you end up working on nothing plus some additional guilt' 🥰

And it’s crazy because I have several really kind, really raving bookmarks on the fic I’m proudest of. And yet the person who left “4/5 stars” as a bookmark is glaring and the only one I see when I look at them 🙃 lol

1. I think it’s bc they look about the same age here for whatever reason, when usually Jungkook looks at least 7 years younger to me and 2. The difference between nj’s flexed and unflexed arms are why body type makes such a difference in aesthetics and physique. Like, never compare yourself!!

I read a fic last night that I’m like 70% sure was written by/with AI?? I’m so torn about it, bc I HATE the AI witch hunt. I also, tbh, am getting impatient with ppl who refuse to accept that AI is a reality we have to reckon with and create regulations around going forward.

I wasn’t gonna say anything about this but after hearing Come Over performed live, I’m actually pretty mad One More Night has a spot on the album and it doesn’t. I’m sure other people have other opinions but for me, OMN is so…meh? Fine? It’s fine, but compared to Come Over?? Really??

Jimin looks like Brad Pitt as Achilles wtf is this I hate it (love it) here

010

Nico @nicowrites.bsky.social · 10/04/2026

I normally judge people who tap out early on this show so hard (see: DJ Khaled) BUT IN THIS CASE you have to forgive him bc 1) you know he didn’t want to go and just got outvoted 2) it didn’t ruin the whole concept as it normally would, but rather provided a beautiful foil and contrast to the others

170

Nico @nicowrites.bsky.social · 10/04/2026

Do you think locals who see articles about BTS stop to just. Stare at Jimin? And then they look at the others just out of mild curiosity and they’re like “damn. They’re all beautiful. WOW.” And they’re about to keep scrolling but they pause for one more look at JIMIN bc JEEZUS

Nico @nicowrites.bsky.social · 08/04/2026

Does it crack anyone else up that in they don’t know ‘bout us, JK pronounces the acronym “AKA” as “aca” like as a single word with the broad /ɑː/ sound?? I find it so funny but it also fits so well and from a tempo perspective was the right choice. It’s just so unusual and gets me everytime 🤣

3131

Nico @nicowrites.bsky.social · 08/04/2026

I normally don’t care for the remixes/different versions of a song because 1) it feels pretty cash-grabby/ very consumable? Idk like it feels a little cheap and 2) they are generally bad. Like. There’s usually a reason the original song is the version that it is, and not “tropical reggae version”

Okay I called it Fae Armageddon Symbolic Sex Party, I was also toying with Apocalyptic Elven BDSM club, new entry: “camp emo slutty vampire nightclub” <— might be my fave How else can we refer to the MV concept?

040

Nico @nicowrites.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

I KNOW jimin’s grown so it’s probably not appropriate to refer to it as his tummy but — 😭 the tummy is all I needed. Keep your Fae Armageddon symbolic sex parties, all I needed to see was JM’s shirt not quite buttoned all the way down 🥹

Nico @nicowrites.bsky.social · 07/04/2026

Thank you… I feel so dumb, this whole time leading up to March 20 I was thinking “yay, we get new music” and that’s it. The album + the concert was all I was thinking about. I literally forgot that album releases come with promo… I was NOT ready for this much content 😅

140

Nico @nicowrites.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

Someone left a bookmark on my fic and rated it 4/5 stars (which, the perfectionist in me does ache to know what would have made it 5) BUT the annoying part is that they didn’t comment?

140

Nico @nicowrites.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

Just finished the whole episode and MY GOD I was smiling from ear to ear the whole time. Those three have chemistry coming out of their PORES. Rising off of em like the steam was off sung hoon!!! What an episode. AND Jimin got his number omg, they’re so cool

Sometimes I think of BTS as being this very niche personal fandom and forget who they actually are. So when things like this happen or ppl talk about hearing about their tour on the NEWS I’m like “oh yeah! global superstars” meanwhile I still get excited when their songs come on in the grocery store
