NBA 2K27 is like every story of wasted potential in the league: full of what ifs and if onlys, with poorly developed talent in the form of disappointing features and modes. Our review: bit.ly/4qR4oCE

I would now like to go back in time to stop myself from watching Evil Dead Burn. Such a disappointing follow-up to Rise

Biggest difference in those last 20 minutes against DR Congo? Anthony Gordon coming on for Rashford on the left for England. Quick two assists in just over ten minutes

000

Nico Vergara @nicovergara.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

A lot of stuff I think still needs to be tweaked (steals, off-ball shoving, passing accuracy) but I'm really enjoying NBA The Run so far especially when you get teammates that actually pass the ball. Makes for some absolute cinema 👇Plus its about time we got some Filipino representation up in here 🇵🇭

Correction: We did hear the battle theme, but without the chanting monk, and it didn’t hit the same. I’m not mad, just disappointed

We…we didn’t get to hear the Metaphor battle theme. I’m devastated and my day is ruined

Gutted about XDefiant shutting down cause I genuinely enjoyed it at launch. But there really wasn’t anything separating it from the pack and it’s another cause of being too late to the party

In the Philippines, we’d call that Tyson v Paul match “luto,” meaning ‘cooked.’ But in Filipino slang, it can also mean a ‘fixed match,’ and both of those definitions somehow apply here

There are still gaps in its game, but so far solid fundamentals and a willingness to adapt have helped this year's iteration.
