Cat question. I've always been a bit of a cat lady but we live near a main road now. Can cats be kept indoors or is there a way round this? We're lucky to have a large back garden with a wooded area but unlucky about the main road out the front.

I disappeared down a Twitter rabbit hole yesterday just aghast at the disinformation, hate and political point scoring being thrown around about California right in the midst of the worst crisis they've ever faced. We've got to fight this 'new normal' that Musk et al are desperate to create!

In the face of human suffering and disaster, MAGA never says "How can I help?", but "How can my entrenched world view by magnified by this event?" They say "Look at how this tragedy proves everything I already thought before this tragedy occurred."

Is this for real or is it a parody? A man with multiple sex offending charges against him and they're all fawning over him on the cess pit formerly known as Twitter. #Tate

Social experiment... How many times does right wing media & places like X have to repeat: 1. Keir Starmer worst PM ever 2. Nigel Farage next PM To groom just one person not already on the grifter's bandwagon to jump on it? And how long to get enough to win an election? 5 years?

Open your eyes Starmer. Musk has his sights on making the new Prime Minister. He'll play the long or the short game. He fancies himself as the western King maker and we must stop this madness.

Considering downsizing to buy a better lifestyle. I know everyone doesn't have that option. I was lucky to buy a house when they were cheap, but has anyone done this and regretted/not regretted it? I'm mid-late 40s.

Teacher burn out is real I'm in the thick of it right now. Education is a socialist construct but when you impose too much capitalism on it, you get a broken system, professionals leaving in droves, burnt out staff & deeply unhappy children that can't learn. It's not a simple fix. The rot runs deep.

Dear car insurers (Hastings) I accept a bit of renewal negotiation but when renewal quote is £300+ more than cheapest, then no, I'm not going to accept your business when you can suddenly match that as you've tried to dick me about & overcharge me. Something needs doing about insurers full stop!

Perhaps businesses that award themselves big dividends and bonuses instead of fair wages could use that money instead of cutting staff or investment to pay their tax bill. And as for moaning about growth. We need money in ordinary people's pockets for growth. Not just a few well off CEOs. #BBCNews

The very least a social media platform should do is allow you to curate your own account, choose your people, engage without fear of abuse, block who you want… Musk took away our agency while pretending to champion free speech. No. Free speech includes the right to turn away. That’s what we’ve done.
