I saw them before saying about the Gulf of Mexico. They claimed because they are a US company, they have to follow the rules of the Tangerine Tyrant. I think I stopped taking them seriously at that point.

I rather love the East Cliff funicular in Hastings, it's a very short trip but the view is lovely from the top. It was a lovely sunny day yesterday, too.

Alipay - I didn't find the translate button for about 2 days... I was bamboozled with the lack of pay by card facilities until I got around Alipay. I didn't use WeChat but it is a crazy place for non-Chinese speakers to try adn figure out.

We learned to make sure not to plan anything involving state monuments on a Monday! Half the city attractions were closed. Also, getting used to paying for stuff was interesting, took us about 2 days to get into it properly.
