Aside from the obvious GOT ranking, Dexter is a close second place. The change of showrunner in season 5 was catastrophic for the character writing; especially Dexter, who turned into a careless moron right out of the gate.

In an IP dedicated to fan service over quality, this was a severe kick in the metaphoric balls even by SW standards. They created a wonderful and refreshing side quest in the SW universe, only to bring Skywalker lore back into orbit; with zero meaningful payoff in the next season.

I was expecting more of a “Courage the Cowardly Dog” plot, not a “the horrors of the human condition make a loving dog feel confused and sad” movie. The spooky plot didn’t land, but the emotional core sure did.
