And we export 1.9 million BARRELS a day (About 80 million gallons). So the issue is half-handled by simply not exporting diesel. I hate to go mercantilist on this, but reserving a nation’s own production for its own use first and only selling excess is not a terrible national economic practice.

Diprotodon, the proto-wombat, was the size of an SUV. They lived alongside anatomically modern humans in Australia for about 10,000 years until going extinct about 25-40,000 years ago. If they had proportionally sized cubic poop, it would be the size of a cinderblock, I think?

Something I found on Reddit. It shows a hypothetical scale-up of the wombat, probably ahistorical, as the Diprotodon is from a distinct lineage from the modern wombat, but it gets the idea of size across by putting it next to a modern northern hairy-nosed wombat.
