22 years of one of my personal favorite albums of all time! I remember stealing my cousin’s CD when it came out… lol and I still don’t think he knows (sorry Joe lol) Anyways, this band is one of those bands that I can say the clichè early 2000’s emo thing where “they changed my life”.

Hot take: I never liked virgin variant covers. They look unfinished. If I want a print, I’ll get a print. I feel the trade dress of a comic completes the cover’s composition, as most covers are drawn with the idea of the logo placement in mind. Bonus points if it interacts with the cover design

People always ask me who/or what was the influence behind Purity’s design. It’s simple! Purity is basically a combination of BloodRayne and a ghoulish/witchy version of Gabrielle from Xena: Warrior Princess

To most it might be dumb, but I’m passionate about comics. I’m passionate about the bad girl comics genre. It’s beyond “just a booby book.” A good bad girl book has…substance, character growth, empowering female leads, and world building. Lady Death, Shi, Witchblade. The trinity of those.

TL;DR: the grind don’t stop. While making final orders for everything for Purity #2, purity #3 is already halfway pencilled, and I have some ideas up my sleeve for #4. This has been an story brewing since I was 12-13 (I’m 29 now) There’s no stopping now. I don’t have time to be discouraged.
