Yesterday, Alexa and I went to see the immersive art exhibit "Twilight Zone: Hidden Wonders of the Ocean" at ARTECHOUSE. We sat on beanbags and soaked in this incredible audio-visual experience. My photos can hardly do it justice.

Last night, Alexa and I enjoyed a special visit to the "Tarot! Renaissance Symbols, Modern Visions" exhibit at the Morgan, followed by a concert of classical and modern arrangements inspired by elements of the tarot!

It's still a little early for Halloween decor at the Home Depot on 23rd Street in Manhattan. They didn't even have the 12-foot skeletons yet. But they did have a small Halloween display of mostly plastic skeletons.

I bought a new pillow at TJ Maxx for my desk chair. Now I can support my lower back in spooky style!

Happy 60th birthday, STAR TREK! Like many people my age, I first encountered STAR TREK in syndication, mostly in the '80s. I remember staying up until 11 PM on school nights to watch it (followed by THE TWILIGHT ZONE at midnight). I could operate on less sleep back then!
