How I Used AI to Lose 30 Pounds! So much of the AI narrative is negative, so I wanted to write about how it positively impacted me. There's no shortcut to eating well and exercising (reta notwithstanding) but having a structured apporoach, as laid out by AI, was very helpful for me, a humble nerd.

A new application to rezone land off Marana Road for a "technology campus and data center" was filed in November — separate from the 600-acre Beale project the Town Council approved back in January. It's still early in the process, and nothing has been decided.

There's a gila monster who lives near the house; we see him a few times per month. Yesterday we caught him eating a dead baby bunny 😢

I recently started doing Apple News mini crossword puzzles. Fun but generic: "Not a cat but a (blank)." So I made Crosswording The Situation, where the clues are ripped from the headlines. Rewards those of us who obsessively monitor the situation! Check it out at crosswordingthesituation.com.

Got an Anbernic RG34XX the other day. Literally the perfect GBA. I've got Pokemon Emerald on my to-do list over the next few months!

Launching my most ambitious project yet tomorrow. I consider it a digital art installation. It would have been a million times easier if I didn't get Covid and nearly break my toe a few weeks ago but whatever!

I had a DMG (which I barely used tbh) and GameBoy Pocket as a kid. Never had a GBC. And only now, with the Analogue Pocket, am I really diving into the GB/GBC library. Good stuff! @jparish.bsky.social @retronauts.bsky.social

I used Claude Code over the summer to create firmware for the Reflex Adapt for MiSTer that allows you to use a genuine DualShock 2 on your PC complete with analog sensitive face buttons. Works great for MGS3!
