We have to sharpen the conversation about AI (and critics have to get a lot more fluent in the tech) because the regulatory space is still wide open, and the current path is going to lead to bullshit “self-regulation” if people keep denying the reality of millions of people using these tools.

Does anyone here has strong opinions on using ternary operators for their side effect? Imho a small side effects can drastically improve code readability, alltough i agree that in most cases using side effects would be considered code smell

typescript code snippet of a return statement which uses the ternary operator while making use of side effects to call a function in addition to returning a value, while only the value is returned.

the code-snippet reads the following:
return (condition) ? (someFunction(), someValue) : (otherFunction(), otherValue)

Die Sicherheitslücke "Sinkclose" betrifft fast alle AMD Ryzen- und Epyc-CPUs der letzten 10 Jahre. 😱 Die Schwachstelle ermöglicht Malware-Infektionen auf Prozessorebene, die schwer zu erkennen und entfernen sind. AMD arbeitet an Firmware-Updates zur Behebung. Zum Artikel: heise.de/-9831278
