I've been wrangling with my Steam Deck all morning (and a portion of last night) trying to get PS3 emulation working properly on it, despite 1) it being for a game I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna play for more than an hour or two and 2) the fact that I've already got it working just fine on my desktop

You know what, even replaying the great detective games is satisfying. You gotta give it a couple years, but you might be surprised by how much you enjoy a repeat playthrough of Outer Wilds, Obra Dinn, Golden Idol, etc. (FIVE times might be a tall order.)

The public library is incredible. I go and borrow a book for free, and even if I don’t return it in three weeks, they don’t even get mad about it. They send me a little message that says “hey buddy you want another couple three weeks??” and even if I ignore them they let me keep borrowing it anyway

I'm gonna play this game at some point for sure, because I love what Remedy does, but my big concern with the is that boss fights in Remedy games, while often cool in concept, are often frustrating and fiddly to actually play. I'll be looking for some reassurance that that isn't the case here.
